Sheila Agee - Painter
I am an Arkansas native who was mostly raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota. I returned to South Dakota in 1979 after completing graduate school at the University of Oregon, Eugene, to start a career in museum administration. After spending approximately two decades as an arts administrator, I decided to return to painting. In 1996, I had a studio built over the garage at my home in the country btween Brandon and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Since then, I have moved from presenting political multi-media installations to working with oil. Now, my subjects reflect whatever nature has to offer.
